My first time making caramel apples... I'll never go back to store-bought again! lol
Apple I used was honey-crisp, because I don't like apples that are too tart when combined with sweets. highly recommended.
The apples are rolled in either pecans or butterfinger (mom can't have nuts). The crushed candybar doesn't stick as well, but is still good on them.
And yes, I am teasing my friends a little... but I'd be happy for the excuse to make them again if someone plans a visit

don't think I've heard of honey-crisp apples..or at least not heard em called that but I've seen em that color before and never had pecans or butterfinger on em but god that sounds good! lol
